Mitch and Dave's Vegatable Stew Printer Friendly version
 
5 potatoes, peeled
2 large carrots
1 cup celery
1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
1 head broccoli
1 can kidney beans
2 cups broth, chicken or vegetable
Pepper and salt to taste
1 teaspoon chili powder
red pepper flakes, to taste
 
Cook potatoes with garlic in salted water until almost tender. Add carrots, onion, broth, and celery & seasonings. Cook 10 to 15 minutes. Add kidney beans. Heat 1 to 2 more minutes. Serve hot, with warm bread
