1/2 pound top round steak, pounded and sliced 1/8” thick 1 medium onion, diced fine 3 cloves garlic, minced fine 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 cup lowfat sour cream 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can lowfat beef broth 2 teaspoons dry mustard 11/2 teaspoons salt and pepper 1 bay leaf, fresh 1 pound mushrooms, sliced 1/4" thick 1/4 cup parsley, chopped 1/2 cup wine, red, burgundy 10 ounces pasta, cooked |

Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add beef, lightly brown. Add mushrooms; cook 2 to 3 minutes until moisture comes out. Add beef broth, mushroom soup, bay leaf and wine (add one soup can of water if needed). Simmer over low heat 20 minutes; take off heat. Add sour cream, fresh parsley and adjust seasonings if needed. Stir together and serve over hot noodles. | ||
