Pesto Bread Rounds Printer Friendly Version
 
8 ounces loaf French bread, cut into 20 -3/4" pieces
1/2 cup nonfat mayonnaise
114 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 Tablespoons Asiago Cheese, grated
1 Tablespoon Pesto sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
Preheat broiler. Place Bread on a baking sheet, broil 1 minute or until toasted. Combine mayonnaise and remaining 5 ingredients in a medium bowl. Spread 1 1/2 teaspoons mayonnaise mixture on un-toasted side of each bread slice. Place slices on baking sheet, broil 4 minutes or until cheese and edges of bread are browned. Garnish with black olives, roasted red pepper slices or small sprigs of cilantro.
